INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons cherry syrup
  • ½ cup chopped pitted frozen cherries (do not use fresh cherries)
DIRECTIONS

1 - Put the milk in a saucepan and heat until bubbles form on the edge of the pan. Remove from heat and add the sugar and salt, stirring until they have dissolved.
2 - Add the cream, syrup and vanilla extract. Mix well and place in a bowl. Let cool in recipient with cold water and ice.
3 - Dry chopped cherries with paper towel and add to the cream. Leave in the freezer until frozen. Almonds and pieces of chocolate may be added.
